Corey is married to his wife of 21 years, Tomekia, and they are the proud parents of three amazing adult children. He and Tomekia reside in Savannah, GA, where they lead a thriving multi-generational church.
Corey is passionate about equipping and encouraging leaders to lead with authenticity, courage, determination, and truth. He overcame two significant obstacles that once threatened his ability to live a life of purpose—being raised in a toxic environment marked by drugs and abuse and facing the possibility of dropping out of high school. In addition, Corey battled a severe speech impediment until the age of 21.
He now considers these challenges the foundation of his passion: helping others overcome personal and organizational barriers and turn them into bridges. Corey is the author of the book Own Your Life Now, and his life exemplifies what it means to own your life—and to own it now.

Corey founded the Savannah Leadership Foundation with a simple but powerful vision: to connect leaders, lift communities, and bring lasting hope to the city and beyond. Through mentorship, strategic partnerships, and hands-on outreach, SLF equips the next generation of leaders while meeting real needs—locally and globally. From mentoring youth in Savannah to supporting mission efforts in Eswatini and Johannesburg, Corey’s heart for leadership and transformation drives every initiative. The goal isn’t just to serve—it’s to develop leaders who serve with purpose.

Corey leads transformational mission trips each year—most recently to Eswatini and Johannesburg—with the organization Children’s Cup. He invites leaders to experience firsthand the power of service, heart-level connection, and purpose-driven impact. “Nothing compares to serving alongside a team in Eswatini—standing with local leaders and planting hope in children’s lives. Through Children’s Cup, we’re building bridges between culture and purpose, challenging leaders to live beyond themselves.”
